We’re excited to welcome our new SLP to the team! She grew up in Omaha, NE, and has lived in several states before settling in South Carolina. This is her third year serving students in Lancaster County School District.
She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from BYU-Idaho and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College. She and her husband have four children—two at BYU and two at ILHS & ILMS.
She loves traveling, musicals, puzzles, Disney, reading, delicious food, and spending time with her family and four Mini Schnauzers! 🐶

She’s from Cayce, SC, but now lives in Waxhaw, NC with her husband and their three silly cats—Pancake, Potato, and Peanut! 🐱🐱🐱
Mrs. Morris has been teaching 2nd and 3rd grade for over a decade and loves helping students grow. She’s super excited to join the North Knights and can’t wait to get started! 💙⚔️📚

North Elementary will host a Class Placement & Registration Help Day on Wednesday, July 31st from:
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Please enter through the bus loop doors. Be sure to bring proof of residency so we can verify your student is zoned for North Elementary. (If you are an approved transfer, this is not required.)
This is a great opportunity to:
Confirm your child’s teacher/class placement
Get help completing registration documents
Ask any questions before the first day of school!
